Garmin Vivosport Fitness tracker is available at multiple retailers for the lowest cost recorded by $50 according to CCC.

Limited sizes and color options on each site. No retailer has all color option/size combos available.

This tracker is new for 2017, and I honestly didn't expect it to go on sale!

Decent reviews, my TL;DR research for you is it's comparable to the Fitbit Charge 2 with longer battery 7 days v. 5, lighterweight/smaller form factor, and waterproof.

This is by far my favorite activity tracker I've used. Only problem is the price, but the fact that it has GPS is fantastic.

I just picked one up. The $150 price tag is steep, but it's relatively new, waterproof, and includes GPS. All things I needed!

Kohl's has it with Kohl's cash, for what that's worth.

Got a Vivoactive HR GPS for $119 on Amazon at about 1am this morning. I think it does the same stuff this one does.

The advantage of the Vivosport is much smaller size and the display is much more readable in low light (assuming it's like the Vivosmart HR+). It's much more suited to an everyday watch. The Vivoactive HR has a better sensor for sporting actvities but it's much bulkier.

I own a Vivosmart HR+ and the Vivoactive HR - I wear the Vivosmart HR+ during the day and the Vivoactive HR+ for running.

I have a Vivosmart HR as well which I wanted to upgrade. Quite frankly the main reason was that the Active has stopwatch and timer. Also like the idea of the new watch faces. I have no problem at all with bulky, considering the fact that I wore a Casio G-Shock for years, the vivos aren't anywhere near what I'm used to.

Hey I also purchased the vivoactive earlier, should I consider this since it it a newer model? I'm not seeing what difference the $30 would make here? Both do HR, swimming and are waterproof? So why the higher price tag? Just because it is a year newer?

Edit: found info online, says the active does not sync with the cloud and doesn't have a diary to track exercises? But it also has stroke counter for swimming which is huge for me.

Meanwhile sport doesn't support swimming or have a compass.

Only major differences, hoping someone can confirm or deny these features.
