It is Japanese, it is golden, it is beautiful. How can I possibly not purchase this? I can not. Damn you Slickdeals.

These mugs are the truth. The lid alone is designed so well.

Cleaning is extremely simple. Throw it in the dishwaster and done. One a month or so, soak the lid in a hot water/citric acid bath.I have had one for about 7 years now and never had an issue.

This is a great price however the cleaning is the nightmare, the top is fine but the locking lid part doesn't come off so mold grows in there

These are nice and they hold up great. To clean it can be a pain in the butt at times.

I own three of these, and never had mold growing on it for about 3 years now. I basically put everything but the metal canister into the dish washer. You should do the same but make sure you take all the pieces apart and put it on the top rack.

Is it easy to drink from? I like to sip on coffee on my way to work. Or will I have to pour it in a cup?

It stays really hot, so as long as the temperature is drinkable, the lid is really stable to drink from.

In for one. I like the LARGE opening to help get ice inside it for summer months. Like double wall/ vacuum insulated for ability to hold it with hot coffee and not burn hands. Hope it works well for coffee.

I have 6 of these in various colors and the relatively crappy auto-seals from Contigo.

The Contigo's are relegated to kid use.

Bought two of these for my fiancee as a birthday gift a couple years back. Outside paint suffering some wear and tear aside, she loves them. Keeps her coffee hot all day and she can still carry it securely in much smaller purses.

I'll also steal one to use as a large, inconspicuous flask on a nice summer day. Drop a few ice cubes in and it keeps it cold without diluting whatever you wanna bring out.
