$199.99 or $175 + Filler Item (w/ Masterpass Coupon MPBF17) for the Next Level Racing Wheel & Flight Stand.

$.01 filler item [newegg.com] or Free After Rebate filler items to get it up past $200 to use Masterpass Coupon.

For price comparison it's currently sold at Amazon [amazon.com] for $300.

I bought this a couple weeks ago when it was $200, but no MasterPass coupon, to use with the Logitech G29/920 racing wheel deal. I have to say it's very well made and allows you to buy additional accessories and chairs and fully convert it into a racing or flight cockpit. Another thing I like about it is that it's, at least as far as I could find, the only racing wheel stand that can double as a flight sim stand.

Here's a link [nextlevelracing.com] to the manufacturer's website with all the various upgrade options.

Here's a nice review on the Next Level Racing Wheel Stand

What's so special about this seat besides flight cockpit function? What seats compatible that can be had for a good price?

I feel like the hardest part of a driving setup is not tilting or rolling backwards when you mash on the pedal. Maybe it's just me but I would definitely recommend a full setup over just a stand. I recently got one on ebay and it's much better than anything I've tried before (It is a bit small though, need to find a way to move the seat back from the pedals).

I've had wheels/pedals for a while but never was willing to spend the money to get a proper set up and honestly they were useless, using these in game requires you to be able to put massive amounts of force on both the wheel and the pedals (at least with force feedback setups)

Which one? I was looking for something like this but not sure about this one or the Wheel Stand Pro. I see no reviews (on newegg.com) for this one.

I think something like this is designed to be used in front of a couch in a living room type environment. People who like console racing games. I doubt this is targeted at anyone who is a dedicated/serious sim racer.

I play console racing games. Horizon 3 is near impossible to drive competently without a full setup (in my opinion). That being said, I'm still much quicker with a controller (only had the setup for a few days) but there is something deeply satisfying of using a clutch and shifter Smilie

Wheel stands are made gamers that don't have room for a full rig. There are many variations of this wheel stand. Another good brand is omega gt. It retails for $169 with a shifter mount. Both of these stands have the ability to become a full rig when you buy all the add-ons.

Can use a regular chair with this in the beginning? This comes with shifter mount, right?

Is the Master pass coupon still active? When I attempted to try it, the website stated that the deal was no longer active.

Thank you in advance.

I bought this setup with a $32 racing seat from Jegs.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Gaming-S...2763.l2649

By far the cheapest way of doing it. The rig is solid with a couple things to note. The racing seat I got from Jegs had holes that were much closer together than the rig's holes (so universal is not true), I had to drill new holes (needed to be big enough to accommodate the 3/8 inch bolts I had to get for the racing chair). I tried to get a setup (including a chair) from ikon racing but they sold out quickly. Overall I'm happy with the rig though eventually I'm going to try and extend the distance between the wheel portion of the setup and the chair portion (I think they sell seat sliders for that racing seat so I'll probably just buy those, or look for some extra tubing as a cheaper option).

The holes for the pedals match up for the most part (it doesn't rest on the lip but that doesn't matter when you have it screwed in place, you'll need longer screws than it comes with though), for the shifter, the g920's shifter is wider than the mount was made for so only one pf the holes matches up but I can drill another if I need to (it's perfectly solid with only one of the holes).

Shipping on the seat and the setup were insanely quick. I got both within 2 days of ordering. The Setup had an estimated delivery date of today but I got it last Friday...

Got something very similar from GT Omega Racing for $161.41 yesterday. Just go to their site and find a $5 off coupon on google. Seems the better deal.

You can put it in front of any chairs or sofa. Yes it does come with shifter mount.
