The first review on the page makes me a little weary though:

"This is a decent sale for those looking for a large screen and do average screen viewing; but for movie enthusiasts and gamers, avoid this HDTV. LG utilizes a highly inferior and low quality pixel method called 'RGBW', where an additional white pixel is added to the standard RGB pixel layout. The result is a distorted image when viewing closer, and subpar 4K quality. The 4K claim is also up for debate, as this pixelation method creates a "faux 4K", in substitution of true 4K clarity. I spent a considerable amount of time in-store, comparing this model to other options, and while from a distance the image was tolerable, it didn't hold a candle to other Samsung, Sony, and Vizio screens in comparable price ranges. I was highly tempted to pull the trigger for the price and screen size today, but can't justify the low image quality in comparison to other models, as well as potential image quality issues with movies, games, etc. looking closely at pixel patterns up close showed glaring flaws for A/V enthusiasts and those seeking decent 4K options. Folks don't kid yourselves, if you're *NOT* a TV snob and want the size - this is your jam right here. I've got the 75" of this guy and it's marvelous.

The key is not having two superior quality TV's surrounding it like in the store. If that's not going to be your setup, you're probably going to be fine for the next 2-5yrs while OLED's figure their ish out.

$300 for an extra 5" 👍😁😂
That would be great if it was my doctor giving me that news, but for a TV size increase/price difference? Not worth it... 😲

Last year around this time Sam's and Costco both sold the 70UH6350 (LG 70") for $999 which has real 4k (RGB), 120Hz (240Hz effective) and 10 bit HDR panel. It's crazy that they are trying to pass off a lower end model for the same price a year later.
