Amcrest has this listed as a black Friday Deal for $84.99. You can get an additional 10% off with coupon SOCIAL10 at checkout.

I don't see a lot of POE IP camera deals posted here but I've been tremendously impressed by our Amcrest POE cameras running on Zoneminder. This seems like a good deal even at $85, the last Dahua 4MP I bought was ~$140.

This Amcrest Camera is a Dahua OEM camera and a nice solid bullet.

You will need a way to power this camera, so PoE switch, PoE NVR, or PoE power injector

27 Amcrest BF deals:
https://amcrest.com/amcrest-black...-sale.html

Checked prices from Chinese vendors, 4MP Dahua IP PoE bullets are about $100 - so this is a very nice deal beating that price.

Me too! I have another POE switch available to use until then though. Any feedback on this camera? I tried zoneminder with the hikvision cube clone and it would not connect properly.

Is this a Dahua clone?

I was going to buy 6 IP4M-1025E for a house we're building. What's the difference between the two? Is one better than the other?

1025E is apparently the newer model according to a chat rep, although on Amcrests website they have identical descriptions and oddly the 1025E has 22 reviews while the 1024 has zero which is interesting.

FYI - Master List of Black Friday Security Camera deals:

Nice! Nice round cross section! So much better than that hexagonal bs shape.

How does this compare with the Foscam FI9901EP ? Just yesterday it went o sale for $98 which is (by far) the lowest price per CCC and is about 50% off what is normally goes for on Amazon. I snatched up 6, and I assume that the Foscam is better than this armcrest model?

Hi Svavanesov,

Sweet a building a new house!

Remember to way over wire now before the dry wall goes up.

Check out my notes on new builds and wiring in the wiki here:

ALSO, I highly encourage you to seriously consider a 4K camera kit ...
You can read my notes on that in the wiki and well as in the master list:

HI Bpollard,

Foscam has got a poor reputation, Amcrest is better ( solid Dahua OEM )

This particular camera I like better than the hexagonal cross section ones.

Hi supernoman,

Dahua OEM ( not a clone technically, but a genuine Dahua hardware with Amcrest mods to firmware - typically slight changes only - port used perhaps, user/password,... )

Hi Svavanesov,

If I was building a new house I would be buying this security camera system, and thus I wanted to share it with you:
https://slickdeals.net/f/10879215-lorex-black-friday-4k-16-port-ip-poe-nvr-security-camera-system-w-8-outdoor-4k-8mp-ip-poe-varifocal-cameras-1599-99

Yes, I know that a bit more that other options out there. I ended up actually building a custom kit by buying Dahua OEM equipment directly from Chinese vendors and ending spending more than that amount. I'm happy with my system, and plan to add some more cameras.

There's some other nice 4K camera kits deals which I like, I'll have to update some of the notes in the Master List wiki.

Which ever system you get do take the time to properly place the locations and bring extra wires to them.

There's a couple spots I want to double up cameras to get more pixels out to the street to be able to ID cars of suspects. ( thankfully I pulled one extra cat6 wire to each location ;-)

Also looking to add a camera for license plate reading ( you need a dedicated camera for that )

Have Fun building your new house!

Hi BlackAndChrome,

Did you look closer at the other Amcrest deals, they've got a number of them.

If you like to post them here, or make a separate post before 6PM today, I can add them to the master list.
