I want to buy some strips, but don't know if I should buy those bluetooth controlled lights. Anyone knows which one is better?

I use cheaper, not waterproof versions of these indoor with a sound sensitive controller and it's tight as hell

I prefer the 2M usb strip in the page lol These strips look cool, but 10M is too long for my TV.

I just ordered this, but am almost expecting to return it. These lights appear to use 12v, which has a max of 16.4ft of lighting, not 32ft. If you want 32ft, you should get 24v to avoid them burning out (or you can use an amp in the middle, but nobody wants to do that).

Well specifically I bought https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...UTF8&psc=1

and some power pigtails so I could power it without having to get an obnoxious power supply.

I left the sound sensor right aove my sub in the living oom and tuned it to moderate snsitivity so heavy bass causes the lights to switch color and anything else sort of pulses or fades the colors... its pretty neat.

Basically the difference between my house and a gay club when trance music is on is that I'm just one straight guy making the neighbors curious (the effect is quote interesting on my windowshades as viewed from outside).

Inside I ran a strip along my baseboard heat from wall to wall and along a stupid room dividing horizontal pillar of sorts. it just works out pretty great with all the other lights off to pull off that, in my opinion, extremely sweet look.

However my taste is probably up there with the others in /r/ATBGE

In my experience with my other sets, they do fine without an amp, but I split the power at the source rather than chain it all the way both sides.

It LOOKS like the adapter for this one does that, so you get 16 feet in two separate directions, not 32 contiguous feet.

Yup, you're correct. I got them today, and the power adapter does have 2 separate connectors. The other one I have has just a single connector, so I was worried. It works great too, btw.
