I normally only lurk around checking out deals that you guys post, but I got a handout when I went to Sam's Club to buy groceries for Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow and saw this deal for a 65" Vizio for $598. I am not well versed on TV's, but this seems like a good deal to me. The flyer said it would be available online at at 12:01 EST on Thanksgiving and stores will open at 7 am Friday morning.

Here is the TV's ratings on rtings.com. For any gamers out there, Rtings has a section devoted to input lag on each review.

Most of the chatter is that the TCL P series TV is a much better choice. However, the 65" TCL P series model was canceled, so your only option there is a 55". If you don't want a larger screen, it isn't an option this year.

That's great that you've got a 65" OLED, but unless you're offering us $2000 each so that we can go out and buy our own, that doesn't really help us.

The TCL P series is indeed much better than the Vizio E at the same price, and if you can only afford ~$600 for a TV I think it's the one to get. But it's also only available in 55". If you want / need a 65" TV, that doesn't really help you.

The next best option in 65" is the Vizio M series, which has better picture quality and much better HDR performance, but is also $1000. And at that point, I think you're better off stretching to $1300 for the P series. But now we're at twice the price of this TV.

But if you're in the market for a budget 65" TV, and you can't spend more and don't particularly care about good HDR performance, the E series is as good as budget 65" TVs currently get.

Bought one! But realized that it doesn't have a built in TV tuner. That's why it's called a display and not a "TV". Might cancel if I find a better deal on BF because I use a TV antenna for local channels.

I did a shit ton of research and as far as a 65" that's bang for your buck this is the one to buy.
