It is LUX model with SINGLE pressure setting (low pressure is needed for many recipes) and no yogurt maker like DUO models.

For feature comparison:

No it doesn't. This model, however, isn't old. They just reintroduced this size in the new LUX versions. This is a LUX and not a DUO. Only difference besides the fact it is a 5 quart and not a 6 quart is the ability for the DUO to allow low pressure. Some recipes may call for this but I have yet to encounter one. Also, the LUX does not have the Yogurt as an auto programed function. Yet, there is a blog post/vlog video on how someone shows how to may Yogurt in the LUX without this auto programmed. Lastly the the lid and trivets are different. The trivet doesn't have handles but you can always purchase one that does and the lid doesn't have a holder like the DUO. Accessories for 6 quart will fit the 5 quart and recipes won't require a change.

Yep, in for three. One minute it was $62 I think and I went back to look at it again and it was $49! I got them for my in-laws, folks and us. I just hope this size is big enough for us.

I agree. Get the Kohl's deal. There is also 7% cash back on youknowwhobates.

came out to 53.70 for me including tax if you count Kohl's cash as net #.

Ohh and I forgot to mention. Hardware is the same regardless of the version. Only change is the name of the buttons.

The other version was made to specifically fit the needs of those who wanted a more updated crock pot with some additional feature. It is NOT a pressure cooker. Pressure cooker has a slow cooker feature, however, you must use below the fill line and depending on how thick the liquid cook on high to meet the medium setting on a a standard slow cooker. I think some get confused when they see that one thinking it is a pressure cooker.
