I was browsing through amazon and got this ad showing up for 5% cashback on a discover card.

I ended up applying for the credit card and saw a fineprint which stated the below:

9. $75 statment credit at Amazon.com: Offer only available when you apply through Amazon.com. Get a $75 statement credit when you use your Discover it® card to purchase any item at Amazon.com within 3 months of approval. Limit one per customer per account. Your statement credit will be automatically added to your Discover Card account within 1-2 billing periods. Amazon.com purchases include those made through the Amazon.com checkout, including digital downloads, Amazon.com gift cards, Amazon Fresh orders, Amazon Local Deals and Amazon Prime subscriptions and items sold by third party merchants through Amazon.com's marketplace.

Direct link to apply(not sure if it would work for everyone). My first deal post..Smilie. sorry in advance on the details..

FYI. Statement credit is not a cask back, it is not subject to double. It is better to use the $50 referal which will be doubled. This deal has been available for a long time.

Good info and repped. Do they double the cash back from Discover Deals such as the 5% Apple, 5% Dell, 10% Microsoft, etc.?
