Does anyone know if you can start a run with the extension. I mean plug in the extension first? I ask because I have power inside a cabinet for my microwave on one end of the long cabinet run. But the cabinets on that side are short runs separated by the microwave. So I would like to use an light extension first, then have a wire extender, then another light extension, followed by a gap for the sink, and finally a full length lightstrip plus.

This won't work. The extension uses a different connector. There are adapters that will let you do that though. Search for "litecessory" on Amazon.
