I believe I bought this one at $150 this week, and also got the Dewalt rolling stand for $175 this week, went ahead and ordered this one for $100 as well, so assuming it ships I need to decide if the Dewalt rolling is $75 better than this one.

Anyone tried both and have an opinion?

I own this one and my buddy has the Dewalt one and I prefer the Ridgid one over the Dewalt. They both are good stands but there's no reason to pay an extra $75 for the Dewalt one. I think he prefers the Dewalt since he has a Dewalt miter saw but I also have a Dewalt miter saw on mine and buying the Ridgid stand for $99 was my best investment last Black Friday (finally got the saw off the ground).

The only complaint I've read is about the supports not being very stable when extended, causing some boards to twist/sag. Have you had any issues with the supports?

Guess I can just try both and decide, but like to return unopened whenever possible.

I've had my saw taking up most of my makeshift workbench for the better part of the year waiting for a good sale on a stand, missed out on the DeWalt at $150, definitely excited to get a decent setup.

No issues at all with the supports not being stable. I'm telling you, you will like this deal!

I have this, and I absolutely love it. its a great miter saw stand when upright and out of the way when folded up. (It folds up with the saw still attatched. Its easy to setup and move around. Considering another for a planer or something.) Assembly is not super easy.

I got this last year and love this one. The large wheels make it easy to get up the bulkhead from the basement. Very easy to maneuver and pop up and get going. Extremely happy. For the price absolutely no brainer.

The only issue that I have is that on my DeWalt DW708 the screw interferes with a 60 deg cut but I never go that far so it doesn't bug me. And there are little plastic inserts to some of the hollow tubes that pop out over thought terrain. I don't care though.

The Home depot ad scan didn't trigger my miter saw stand alert, also the ad didn't indicate it would be available for order today, so this post is valuable.

You can reverse the mounting bolts. I have the Dewalt 782 on a slightly older model and had to put the bolts with the heads up so it would clear.
