With a generic title like this and a question (not posting a deal), you will certainly be getting a lot of thumbs down!
Next time, find the thread that already is going about a product (which there are for this one) and ask your question there or read through to see if you can find your answer.

Got it for my daughter for $750 back in Sep with the student discounts I signed up for. I was hoping to see this for around $700 since it was around $750 a month ago which would make it a much better deal. Was hoping to jump on it at $700 to replace my wife's older model. Also, 128GB is a bit sparse in today's day and age, so the Transcend JetDrive 130 almost becomes a must. Just an iPhone and or iPad backup, music library or photos library will run it out of space quickly. Just remember to factor that into the price if you think you will consume 100GB or more of these kind of things.

thanks, wanted to get this for my daughter, noticed the 256G is $200 more! will get her a portable WD 1TB USB hardrive or the Jetdrive 130 but it says compatible for 2010-2015 models, will it work on this model ?

Yes, fits the 2017s perfectly. The model was, TS128GJDL130. The 256GB one would have been great but I was in price shock as well after I saw it and was like well 128GB it is. I liked the way its implemented into the laptop and for a 9 year old it was not something she would "forget". An external USB drive or NAS is certainly more economical if you won't be roaming too much and need the data.
