Amazon Prime deal on Moto G5 Plus.
Currently the price is the same for the 32 GB + 3 GB RAM and the 64 GB + 4 GB RAM
This model has Amazon ads (which some say is not a big deal).
This appears to be a great budget friendly phone.
(This is my first deal posting; hopefully you find it helpful).
Happy Thanksgiving!

That's only for the 32gb, 2gb ram version. This is considerably better if you don't mind the Amazon ads

Let me start off by saying that I am an early adopter with phones and have had every flagship LG phone going back to LG 2. I picked up the Moto g5 Plus as a back up to my LG V20 (Flagship). Once I got my LG V20 back, I sold the V20 because even with the adds on the Moto G5 purchased at the deal of the day. I love the Moto G5, the reviews indicate that this is a mid-level and more of a budget phone. I felt that in real life use that this was superior to the V20 with the exception of the camera and video. However, even though I value the camera very highly in a phone...This Moto G5 is good enough. Do not waste your money on the Moto E4. You wan the 4 GB RAM and the 64 GB of storage. My concerns were non-swapple battery or the inability to use a sd card. This charges super fast with a turbo charger and can go all day with heavy usage and fine in the evening. The software is near pure android and it does not have a music or gallery photo app except for the google products.

Bottom-line - An unlocked Moto G5 is a great phone new at any price point under $200, even with ads. I have the ads version which I thought initially I would hate but it was not worth paying $50 more non-ad version at the time. Ads to me are not even noticed.

First off, thanks for posting this deal! It seems to be an excellent price for this phone.

I'm curious, does anyone have any idea if this phone will be available at this price for a few days? Or is it likely just going to be available for $180 for Thanksgiving Day? If someone has any information, or, at least, an idea about how long this deal might be available, a response would definitely be appreciated, as I would like to see if I might be able to afford to get this phone for my daughter as a Christmas present. Thanks in advance to anyone who replies!

Also, I'm curious if anyone thinks this is a hands-down better choice than the Moto E4 Plus that is available for about $20 less? I'm really intrigued by the incredible battery life that the Moto E4 Plus is supposed to have, but, from what I gather, that camera on the E4 Plus is absolutely horrible, and that's a concern. So, would it most likely be worth it to just spend an extra $20 to get this Moto G5 Plus?

I think Costco deal is a better one, no ads, and $10 cheaper, though only 32GB storage

Fry's has it for $199 without ads but for me the delivery date was Dec 4. The $180 prime phone will be here Sunday. I want to try it on the Sprint one year free and don't know how much longer that will be around. From all I've read the ads aren't that bad, just on locked screen. The problem that some folks might have is the prime version can't be rooted. That's not a problem for me

Best all around phone for the budget minded this BF? I'm genuinely asking since a $200 v20 seems far fetched this BF. Looking for a good backup phone and one that I can give to my dad for basic use. It looks like it can take decent pics and has QC. And a decent screen, 4GB RAM, SD slot. Big battery. Bare Android.

I just ordered one as well. I believe that this was a similar price on Prime Day back in July.
