Sale is up again in HD

I own this kit and will say it is perfect for home projects. The drill is weak compared to Dewalts 20v series but it is good for light jobs. The impact is nice but weaker than the competition. The leds on the tools only stay on for the instant the trigger is depressed, so be aware. Love the value and just know it is a bit weaker but gets most jobs done and are pretty hardy.

Great kit. The impact is plenty powerful, and the multitool is incredibly useful. I hate that they include a flashlight as one of the pieces, but the rest is plenty solid for a homeowner.

Yeah the flashlight is a little dated but it does throw a good beam in large unlight areas. Good to walk around outside with rather than tight areas. It is about equal to a 7w 1.5v led flashlight I got.

Yes I posted that one too. It seems good unless you need the multitool.

Just but DIablo blade on saw and you'll get almost perfect cuts.
Great set for DIY's and home owners

These don't seem to be the new brushless tools. If you want the best value look for the brushless tools. More power and better battery life. For casual use these will be fine.

You can swap the bulb out for an led bulb that costs like $3 And it will increase the light volume and make the battery last longer

I own this flashlight and would be interested in swapping the incandescent bulb with an LED type. Do you know which bulb it takes? Thank you.

Edit: I think I've found it. At $10-15 average cost per bulb, it's roughly half the cost of the P704 flashlight. Probably better off putting that money towards the P705, which is LED and seems to be the successor to P704.

I bought this set last year about same time for same price. This includes the Lithium + batteries which is nice. For average homeowner use, this set is hard to beat. Since I have bought the Ryobi tire inflator and the Auger that both work with same batteries.

Just buy this so you won't loose out on the deal, and return your other one.

I bought this set last year at this price and it's been fantastic for some diy projects around the home. I've built a few shelf's, tables, and cabinets using only these tools with no issue.

One thing to note about the circular saw though. It's great for what it is, but the one that comes with this set is the 5 1/2" model. Blades are available, but not in the quantity a normal 7 1/4" (standard) blade is. Additionally, this WILL cut through the face side of a 2x4 no issues (although just barely, and if the board is bowed, it'll leave a small strip connected that you'll need to turn over to get). If you're trying to cut a 2x4 at a 45 degree angle, this WILL NOT go all the way through. The cutting depths can be viewed at the following link if you're interested. http://pdfstream.manualsonline.co...62d4da.pdf

I don't have any other complaints about the rest of the tools though, they've all held up extremely well! I would just recommend getting a 7 1/4" circular saw if you find a cheap enough deal and need to do 45 degree cuts! The laser sight is a god send on this model though!
