How's the prime version, how troublesome are those for people who are kinda new to smartphones?
This would work fine overseas also, right?

These phones are gone bottom out be $150 or less around Jan/Feb.
The Moto g4 plus just hit 100. So maybe not. The 5s plus did just come out though. I just pulled the trigger on a prime version in good condition 64/4 with ads for 160

But also with 64gb, 4gb ram on it. Or you can buy without the ads for $225 from many sites

No NFC OR ANT+. That's the killer. Unfortunate....
Do you really use those that much? I'd never even heard of ANT+ until you posted about it. Looking at the directory of smartphone devices with ANT+, there's only 128 with it, anyways. Most of them being Samsung Galaxy and Sony Xperia phones. Then there's NFC. I mean, what is that really used for with high frequency? Maybe you do have a use for it, what do I know? But, my guess is that manufacturers cut stuff like that out because it's not of much use to the majority of people.

Which phones have ANT+? My Garmin would love that.

NFC is the 'tap and pay' system you see in many stores. Paying with your phone is the idea. Android Pay, Samsung Pay, Apple Pay, and many bank amd store apps/wallets (ChasePay, Starbucks, eBay, etc.).

Manufacturers cut it out to save costs, and offer a lower priced phone, plain and simple. Also, selling this phone all over the globe means they don't have to make people outside the US and Europe pay for the NFC parts in the phone they will never use.
