You must be signed up to FRYS.COM email coupon list [frys.com] and receive today's 11-23-17 coupon code in your email. All deals require the promo codes to be entered before reflecting the discounted price.

The Segway MiniPro 320 in White and Black do not offer a shipping option, they only offer local delivery or in-store pickup.

The Segway MiniPro 320 in white [frys.com] will go on sale for $399.00 with the email promo code. No Shipping option. In-store pick up or local delivery only. You will get a confirmation email right away if you select in-store pickup,
but you will not get a confirmation until tomorrow if you select the local delivery option because the store is closed on Thanksgiving Day.

Segway miniPro 320 in Black [frys.com] is available at Frys.com for $399.00 (regularly $549.00) when you use the 11-23-17 morning email promo code. Original price of $549.00 will be listed until you enter the promo code. You can sign up now on the Fry's website for the promo code and they should send you one. It also looks like you can apply the promo codes to several other Segway devices. Word of advice, I would not select local delivery if you order the Segway MiniPro Black model because FRYS is closed Thanksgiving day and will not be able to confirm your order until they open tomorrow (11-24-17). Be safe and select in-store pickup for Friday (11-24-17) if you have a store nearby.

This price matches the SamsClub.com deals from earlier this year, but not as good as the Amazon Prime Day Deal or the in-store Sam's Club deals where people were able to find sub $300 new devices and sub $200 display model Segways. The current price of $399.00 is lower than the refurbished Segway MiniPro 320's that Frys is currently selling at $449.00. It looks like the promo code might also get you a discount on the miniLite and a few other Segway devices.

* CAUTION: Do not select the 2018 Edition Segway miniPro260 if you are browsing for this device because that one has a lower capacity battery. Strange thing is that the miniPro260 is selling for more than the miniPro320 at many locations.

I am on the road and adding this deal from the mobile on Android, so had a few issues. I apologize for the lack of the link in the main thread, but I wanted to get this deal out as soon as possible.

Word of caution for people buying this Segway miniPro 320 from Fye's or any retailer...i bought a unit two days ago from Fry's and the battery was D.O.A. I returned it for an exchange and the exchange unit was also D.O.A . I can't get any power on the unit. If you purchased anything from Fye's, you know their return policy is strict and they only offer store credit or an exchange for the exact same item.

*I modified the wording below because i dont actually know if its an issue with all the Segway miniPro devices sitting on shelves for an extended time or if i just had bad luck. I also wanted to add a disclaimer for people to not to open their devices without getting instructions from Segway to do so.

Many of these devices are at least six months old and have probably been sitting on store shelves or in a warehouse for that time, so some of the batteries might be completely dead or may have gone into a deep sleep mode to save the lithium batteries.

I read on a forum that the only solution is to return the device or to call Segway support and they will give you instructions to unscrew the batttery, disconnect it from the device and charge the battery outside of the device. I don't want to confuse people, so i will not get into too many details. DO NOT OPEN YOUR DEVICE UNTIL YOU GET WORD FROM SEGWAY TO DO IT. Best bet is to call Segway support M-TH and either they will give you the instructions to charge the battery while not connected to the Segway or they may tell you to send it in for repairs if you don't want to return it to the retailer. You may have warranty issues if you have to break the Segway seal on your own without speaking to Segway first.

This sucks! I just got a minipro from frys today and was not planning to open it until a month (to see if better deals on minipro or a deal on miniplus comes on the way). I guess I can return and unopened package for refund to frys.. Hope they do not give a run around with merchandise credit only policy.

Were you ever able to get a working segway? Did you have to pull apart the battery?

I am still waiting until Monday to call Segway support. If i can't fix it with phone support i will have to return it and try to get a refund. I've spent what feels like my entire weekend on this device and now i feel so over it.

Your best bet is to return it to Frys unopened and try to get a refund. The Frys in my area were having issues on Black Friday, so they were extra cool about my exchange. They made the process very easy and even had the exchange waiting for me when i arrived. It was just a pain driving around to several local Frys in the area. I am hoping this is not a larger issue than being specifically related to Frys inventory. You may or may not have an issue with any Segway MiniPro 320 purchased from any location if it has been sitting around for more than several months without a charge. I've read Amazon reviews where customers were having the similar issues. It sounds like many of the devices have been sitting unsold for several months, so devices outside the 60 to 90 day charging window could potentially have the same issue.

I saw a link where someone posted a pdf of the instructions they received from Segway and it actually sounds very easy to fix it. You do have to break the seal, so wait until Segway tells you to open it up or risk voiding the warranty.

Makes me think i should have bought the 2018 edition when Amazon had it for $385 instead of dealing with these issues.

Any update on this? Did segway support help out on this? I've not opened and will likely return since I've seen more and more reviews being posted on Amazon with a dead battery issue.. not worth the hassle I think.

I do have an update. I attempted the battery charging and reseating procedures and the battery was no good. It wouldn't charge, so I had a to make a warranty claim. Segway was very good about getting back to me once I got a hold of someone. The only delay came from my side because I wasn't able to fill out the warranty claim form for a few days. I emailed the form last night and Segway processed my claim and they are sending me a new battery. They said the other option was to return the item to the store and try to exchange it,but I am just going to wait for the new battery. I will update this thread when I receive my battery and try it out.

Exact same thing happened to me. First one dead. Went back to Fry's to exchange. Second one dead battery also.

Yes, it is kind of a pain, but i decided to go directly to Segway for support. I believe they are sending me a new battery because the charging and reseating procedures did not work. Make sure you contact Segway before trying to open up the device. They will note it and associate it with the serial number so you do not void your warranty. They were actually very helpful. I probably would have a new battery already if i did not wait 3 days before submitting my warranty claim.
