If you finance the S8 for 18 months, the minimum payment would be $32 a month. It would actually be cheaper on T-Mobile to buy it from there, where it would be $30 a month for 2 years.

Huh??

$32 x 18 months = $576 Best Buy

$30 x 24 months = $720 T-mobile.... cheaper??

If you use one of those prepaid services like criket you would get $40 worth of service credits. Also you can only buy the pretty blue ones at BB.

It is all about the monthly rate the carrier charges for your plan. Some carriers have low monthly installments for the device but recoup this concession given, by the way expensive service plans... This is one downside of buying carrier tied phones, not to mention the delay in any software updates and additional bloatware on some carrier devices.

Can anyone confirm restocking policy if box has not been opened? No restocking fee? Worried this deal might get better for Cyber Monday.

When I bought it there was a notification about a restocking fee, which is odd since it is just an unlocked phone without any activation.

In any case, maybe you can use a credit card with price protection with would credit you the difference of the price goes down in the next few weeks?

Maybe he meant that at TMo, you would be doing the bogo deal, so 30 per month for 24 months would actually get you 2 S8s. You would have to activate a new line though for at least 2 or 3 months while you wait for the rebate card to arrive.
