Everything Ive read is no, only the 970 will get DV. But I'm not an expert. Really wish the UP970 would drop below $147....

No. And the main complaint about it is that it's noisy. Still not a "bad" player at this price, but don't expect too much.

It's not noisy at all. The UP 970 after mid 2017 had the issue fixes

I just bought Samsung UBD-KM85c from Costco for $140. Samsung UBD-KM85c is Costco only model which is identical to Samsung UBD-K8500. Anyone knows how it compares to LG? Debating if I should return Samsung and buy this LG instead.

Wow... I think this is the only player on the market that as only ONE HDMI output. (Besides Xbox Players)

What this means is if you have an older receiver, you wouldn't be able to watch in 4K HDR and hear in Lossless sound through your Home Theater set up.

With the other 4K Players, they have two HDMI Outputs... one for the TV or Receiver.... and one just for Audio to send to the receiver (if you have an older one)

I hope future 4K players don't follow this trend by LG.

Edit- Ok it looks like their 2017 Model has two HDMI outputs. Good.

Not true. According to http://www.lg.com/us/home-video/l...ray-player it has HDMI 2.0a and HDMI 1.4 outputs - 2 in total.

Edit: LG site is incorrect. BestBuy has correct info - only one HDMI output.
