I bought one of these at regular price a while back. Great nailer. If you think you might need one then buy it.

Amazon and Lowe's both have the Hitachi 18-gauge 5/8 to 2-inch brad nailer for $39.98. I've been looking at this for several months and this is the lowest I've seen it. The regular price at Amazon is around $68 and at Lowe's it's $89. The price at Lowe's is good until 11/29. It has great reviews - 4.5 out of 900 reviewers.

Wow this thread is over an hour old and an argument over the use of lowes coupon codes hasn't broken out. Good job all.

Search might indeed be broken as I searched twice for this using different search criteria. I will say that being a systems administrator for 8 years, an enterprise technology architect for a $1.2 billion company, and overall in IT for 20 years....I don't know it all and I might well have hit search incorrectly.Confused I do indeed see what you're talking about, but also know they didn't show up for me yesterday when I posted.
