No. What they're saying is just an attempt to come off as superior that comes across as stupid.

Whether you can see the pixels or not depends on the combination of how good your vision is and more importantly how far away from the screen you sit.

A lot of grown ups use actual adult sized desks, library tables, and other arrangements instead of a particle board computer hutch or one of those crappy glass "computer desks" crammed next to a twin bed. That means they sit further away than a teenager or broke college kid usually does.

And of course a lot of people don't have the eagle eyes of a kid either, so they could sit closer and still not see the pixels.

Any sized screen becomes a "retina" screen at the right distance with the "right" eyes.

Everyone's situation is different.

I bought this last week as an open box for 222. It's ultra-wide,so the actual height of the screen is somewhat similar to 27inch wide monitor, which means if you don't see pixels on 1080p 27inch, you won't see one in this either.

I've had this monitor for a year. Love it. This is the best price I've ever seen.

Appreciate the post, but was it really that hard to put 1080p in the title so people don't waste their time ? lol
Seeing how I haven't seen a 4K IPS at this price I'm assuming you'd know.

In the RSS feeds, the price is sometimes cut off depending off title. I had no idea what the price was until I clicked inside Frown

Pixel density is not that bad on these. It's got the same density as a 27 inch regular monitor. If you don't like how 1080p looks on a 27 that's fine but you can not compare this to a regular 32 or whatever
