Damn I just got this 2 weeks ago for 60. Regardless it's awesome and works great. Highly recommend it.

I was looking at the $199 Game Saver version, I've heard that more expensive is better when it comes to the vacuum sealers. Thoughts?

At least this one doesn't come in camo... really not a fan of the weird gruff masculine product names the foodsaver marketing department has been coming up with lately.

You sure you didn't get the wingman? That one is $60 today too - and I bought it 2 weeks ago for the same.

So this one or the GM2150 for $60?
2150 does 60 consecutive seals as opposed to this one at 40.
Not that i think I'd need 60 but just thinking that one my be more powerful. Worth $13 more?

My mistake. I didn't realize this was a different model.

I didn't either until I read this could "only" do 40 consecutive seals. The fact the other does 60 is what sold me. We usually buy meats in bulk and our regular one would make us wait at some point (never counted, but probably like 20 seals).

I have one food saver. It helps me a lot. I have a big family and always buy meat in bulk. With food saver, we can keep meat fresh easily.

So no thoughts on this vs the GM2150 for $13 more?
Anyone own one of these or those that can give some insight would be great

Thanks for the link. Foodsaver is having big sales on most of their sealers. You can also get 2 for 1 rolls or bags plus sales on containers. Some really nice deals.
