Yeah, need some best buy deals with no monthly credits masquerading as a 2 year contract.

Unfortunately, it looks like the best deal right now if you don't want a "contract" is at Target. Pay full price, get a $200 Target gift card. Currently on the fence with a Pixel 2 XL or a Note 8.

What happens if you do this promo on the same line multiple times. Can you get 2 devices on one line? Will multiple bill credits apply for one line?

For those that have an interest, I scanned for 2 days any type of deals and savings I could find. In the end as mentioned above I felt the Target deal was the best. Regular price for the device, but did get a $200 gift card. We shop at Target all the time so this wasn't like some card we would never use.

I am NOT on the Verizon Unlimited plan, and getting on it would bump my $18/month. So yes I didn't get the 50% off (I am only getting the Pixel 2, not the XL) but I also would of had to "pay" to get this half off, basically cancelling it out.

I will give props to Target. Or at least my guy there. They were swamped but efficient and had their act together.

Samsung S8 and S8+ are a better deal but if you are sold on the Pixel 2 ( we were) Target I think is the place to go.

I've been looking for a pixel 2 XL deal but haven't seen anything other than target deal. Bummed that only 350$ off was the best deal this year, (and no I didn't want to switch to Sprint) wanna stay with Verizon or TMobile

Raise your hand if you think Verizon learned a lesson from last year's DPP offers with no service contract...

That was 2 years ago with the Droid Turbo 2's and the $300 trade in gravy train. Last year they introduced the bill credits and bombed on their BF sales. Best Buy was where it was at last year with the Pixel at $9.99/mo, tax on only $240, and a $100 BB gift card included. I bought 3 of those pixels.

Yes, that was through BB, but it was $9.99/mo on a Verizon DPP, $4.99/mo for the Moto Z with 2 free mods. Nothing like that so far this year...

What I didn't notice is that the Verizon deal on the Pixel 2 was Thurs and Friday ONLY and is over now. My bad for not checking that detail but that's pretty crappy on Verizon's part. You would think that Google would support more deals if they want to get more market share, especially with some of the bad press about the stress on the XL.
