I bought 2 of these vacs last year at this price, I think they have plenty of suction. For $40
it's hard to find a better deal. I was able to use $15 off $50 coupons.

The hose connector on this vac is 1 1/4". I personally would get a shop vac with 2.5" hose connector but it depends on your usage. The deal on Ace / Craftsman was better compared to this vac.

Home depot has similar spec Rigid 40$ on BF sale too. Not sure which one is better. Any ideas? Home depot one shows 40$ on the website too right now, but says none available in the area or for shipping too, not sure if they are just holding for tomorrow's sale or my area really has none available.

Unsure if i should go in early morning for that at HD or just get this lowe's one.

If you have access to a Lowe's promo code or mover's coupon, get the Lowe's one.

Nice looking shopvac, but 1 1/4" hose will have clog up problem.

In the OP link, you can see the 1 1/4" hose diameter in the specs. For the other deal $40 for shop vac with 2 1/2" hose diameter, it is now expired. But here is the link

So a 2.5 connector would work on this or is the 1 1/4 set?

The shop vac listed by OP in this thread has only 1 1/4" hose connector. So, if you have shop tools with 2.5" diameter you will need an adapter to hook up this shop vac to your shop tool (example Band Saw, Table Saw).

I used a 2.5" hose from an older vac I had and it really helped bring back full suction. No idea why they bottleneck it with such a small hose.

Still available. I have one from 3 years ago still going no issues. I've never had issues with the smaller hose but I know I can always upgrade to a larger hose later.
