$827.51 for a $1500 monitor (albeit most nobody would ever buy it at the $1500 price) after cash back and taxes.

I just purchased this a couple hours ago for $899.99 from Adorama through Newegg. Should I cancel that one and get this one? For me, it'll be my overhead monitor on my 3+1 setup on my sit-stand desk.

Is there an issue with TigerDirect? or still too pricey for what it is? don't like the product? or...just because it's VA panel? or all the issues people have found and have had to return?

TigerDirect is great, never had any problems w them. I think cancelling/reordering would be the move if still possible.

The QC issues seem to improved since the monitor was first released, at least judging by recent reviews. Also this price point seems unbelievably good to me for a first-of-its-kind 32:9.

I think the only major complaint is the 1080p vertical resolution. It's basically like having two 1080p 27" monitors side by side.. which is too little for multi-tasking work.

Yeah right now I have a 65" Samsung curved TV as overhead monitor, and the problem is I now that I have the fully Jarvis frame, I can no longer use that TV without missing about half of it. I'm going to be using an Alienware 34" 1440p 120Hz G-Sync display for main, and ASUS ROG PG279Q on both sides of the 34". Then, the Samsung 49" on top because it's the largest single display that will fit comfortably on the mounts and not reach the ceiling, and usable from both standing and sitting positions. Right now everything is a cluster of a mess because I'm trying to custom build and mount 2 systems to the desk/under the desk (not sure yet).

I'm worried about buying two and then being stuck unable to cancel and/or return. Wife might murder me since we now have to find a place for the TV...

In for 2. But showing "Back order" on status.

Edit: Shows " To Drop Shipper - Your order is being submitted to a third-party warehouse for fulfillment and delivery. You will receive a Shipping Confirmation email once it ships."

Same. Looks like the $789.99 is gone.

Gah! I thought this was straight from Samsung.com. Not a fan of the VA panel & 1080p but I would've bit.

That's unfortunate. And also OOS at TigerDirect.
