Have both Wink believe 990s are 32Ohm (on the fence) / 880s @600Ohm are my favorite in DT series ! Smilie

laugh out loud I hear you - if you blast max all the time w/an amp. etc. ?! and I like to listen @ moderate volume as well ! loudness relates to detail I like (love) to hear ! Smilie

Tempting. If i didn't already have the Sennheiser 650 on order i might be interested to try these.

At 600 ohm rating you will need a a proper amp setup.

I've read that 990 have very harsh highs (the other end of bass). Is that the same for the 880?

Here's a comparison of the different ohm ratings on these. Better to go to the summary and avoid all the technical stuff.

No prob. It's an older article so some of the prices and alternative suggestions might be a bit off but it gives one an general idea how the different ohm rating applies. To say that the 600 ohm rating on the headphone does matter keep in mind.

Why do they sell it cheaper in eBay where they have to pay a commission and more expensive in their own website.

Will this be worth it with my LG V30? Or should i continue to look for a ATPX HD BT setup?
