The new Connect upgrade for existing Litter Robot 3 owners is half-off for Black Friday. The upgrade let's you connect your LR3 to your home WiFi. It pushes out notifications to your phone about how full the bin is, when it needs to be emptied, problems, etc.

They also have $50 off Litter Robots, but the real deal is the Connect upgrade.

Thanks I got one. Finally. I hope it tells me if the robot is stuck upside down and can reset it wirelessly.

The tag line on the LR marketing email was great. "The future called. It said your litter box is full."

Ok, I'm glad I'm not the only one that has this issue. So many times I go in there and it's either upside down or has a bunch of "stuff" in it and is flashing yellow.

But I'm with you, I grabbed the Connect upgrade earlier today for the exact same reason.

if you can do the reset wirelessly, that worth the $50.

Nope, just *really* hoping for that functionality. It's still worth $50 for me just for the "full" notification anyway.

if this does get push notification for the error, thats useful. even if it cannot reset.
maybe order now and call tomorrow to confirm.

Jumped on it as soon as I got the email. Props to them for giving current owners an option for an upgrade without buying a new base.

It took five weeks to get my elderly cat to use it. So far, it's been great. My wife is very pleased by it, which alone makes it worth the money. Cat seems happy, too. The only thing I thought it was missing was an IoT feature, and this upgrade resolves that.

The upgrade process looks like it'll take a bit of time to do. Basically involves stripping the whole thing down. I suppose it's a good reason to clean it, too.

The app actually looks decent, though I think we've got to manually tell it when the bin has been emptied. It must gauge the fullness based on the number of cycles.

Not available yet on Android... Pisses me off! I have 2 and they always have some issue with blinking lights or rotation issues.

Best litter box in the universe. It's expensive and kinda big, but so worth it. No more scooping twice a day.

What type of litter you use? Would the large container tidy cat stuff work?

Sad part is we are all dudes talking cats. Lol. Now who's the p=%_y. Haha

Dr Elsey's Precious Cat. Any clumping litter would work.
