I have this lens. It's stellar. Will give you FF result on your APSC camera.

Love it. Bought one two weeks ago from amazon which I'm returning because it was 200 more than this deal. It did need a focus adjustment which took a couple hours using the sigma dock.

i have this lens. its good. with viewfinder u can have a focus problem for which u need the dock. higher end canons can do fma internally. u can use liveview if u dont want to do the fma. sometimes u may crave the 20 mm to get 55mm but its a trade off u need to make.

This exactly. A lens that can give APS-C the sharpness of a full frame camera, and the same light gathering capability as similar lenses too.

18-35mm f/1.8 APS-C ≃ 27-53mm f/2.8 FF in field-of-view and light-gathering. The sharpness of this lens allows for sharper detail across the smaller sensor - full frame can get away with lower quality glass. Only real difference to these full frame values is the perspective distortion remains 18-35mm.

If you are someone that shoots APS-C on the wide end of a kit lens and want a huge step up in sharpness, low light capability, and autofocus performance, this is the lens to get.

very well said. i dont really shot anything below 35mm FF and if so i use sony A7II with 28mm f2 so this lens would be hardly used on my 80D from canon.
