Ryobi 18-Volt ONE+ Lithium-Ion High Capacity Lithium+ Battery Pack 4.0Ah (2-Pack)

$79 thru 11/24 - normally $99.

Pretty sure this is the lowest you'll ever see these. And I know they're not contractor-grade, but I'm no contractor.

Toys? I need these batteries because I already have Ryobi tools and use them a lot. I have no DeWalt tools and see no reason to start over. Heck, I don't care what Dewalt's rep. is, half their stuff is below professional-grade these days and no better than Ryobi.

The pros I see at my places of business seem to mostly use Milwaukee, Makita and Bosch power tools now, and I've actually seen more Ryobi than Dewalt lately. Small sample size, but I always take a peek at what they're using.

Well. Some things like 15 guage nailer actually destroy the DeWalt competitor. Watch some YouTube comparison test.

Poor reviews, I wouldn't cheap out on these. Those could have just about any crappy cell in them. Ryobi will at least have name brands.

No defective ones and last about as long from what I've observed.

Are these backwards compatible with the older Ryobi tools?

Tools, yes. Chargers, no. Make sure your charger is compatible with these batteries.

This is a great price already, but if you don't need it right away and you're willing to wait after the holidays, it **may** go down to $60 like previous few years.
