ButcherBox is offering either a free Ultimate Steak Bundle (2 Ribeyes, 2 NY Strips, and 2 Filet Mignons) or $100 of free wine from Dry Farm Wines (3 bottles) with your first ButcherBox order. Also included is free bacon. About their Steaks: ButcherBox Steaks are 100% grass-fed and grass-finished and raised free from antibiotics and hormones.
  • Filet Mignons (2x6oz) are one of the most tender, well-known, and expensive steaks.
  • Ribeye Steaks (2x10oz) are often called the Crown Jewel of the Steakhouse—they're so tender you can cut them with a fork.
  • NY Strips (2x10oz) are a steakhouse favorite with good marbling, a strong flavor and great texture.
About Dry Farm Wines: Dry Farm Wines curates only the highest quality natural wines from small, organic family farms that meet strict standards of health. Unlike today's commercialized and processed wines, this is real wine. Nothing added, nothing removed.

I get a monthly ButcherBox and love it. I usually see free ribeyes or $10-20 off. This is a pretty good deal.

Hahaha, pass. Filets are $6 a pop at the farmers market here. 5 for $25. Not a chance I'm paying $130 for a box of mystery meat (I seriously cannot find a page on the website that actually tells you what's included in the "beef box".

If you do the custom box for $20 more, you can build your own.

You can choose 3 basic meats and 3 premium. I chose 3 of the 2lb 85% ground beef, so 6 lbs of 85% and then 3 twenty ounce ribeyes. So that's about 3.75lb of ribeye, which even at expensive prices is only worth $60 (here in the midwest that would cost around $30 for choice and $40~ for prime). Then the ground beef is worth around $20.

So yeah, $80 of meat for $150? That's gonna be a hard pass lol. I can't believe people repeat order this and probably think it's a good deal.

This type of convenience shit is marketed towards people who don't have a good idea of what grocery food costs.

So does Sam's Club if you're stuck in a city w/o Costco.

This smells of astroturfing. This seriously isn't a deal. Even with the free steaks.
