Great deal on the 4000. But I just can't say no to the 3 tool kit from home depot for $129 even though that has the 3000. Anyone able to talk some sense into me?

I'm not sure what other tools you're referring to, but I would personally want the 4000 over the 3000 - it wouldn't be worth it to me to sacrifice the versatility of the 4000 (much greater rpm range with fine tuning and more power for tougher materials).

Buying my first one - don't know much about dremel. Is it worth it to spend the extra $25 on the accessory kit

I bought this when it went live last night! It was something my boyfriend had on his Amazon wish list and is quite a price drop! I think I'm grabbing the engraving kit now because it's something we've both talked about doing.

Difference between the 4000-2/30 and the Dremel 4000-4/34?
Both have the same size motor (4000) but the first number is how many attachments you get 2 vs 4 and the second number is how many accessories you get, 30 vs 34.

Is there anything I'd be able to do with the 8220 or the 4/34 that I wouldn't be able to do with the 2/30? shake head

Just trying to sort this all out and pick one already. . Thanks OP!
