Had Apple tablets for 9 years. Finally went cheaper Amazon and Samsung route and found that there really is no need to own an iPad anymore unless you are totally reliant on Apple ecosystem OR their app's.

I'm not an app hound, and generally can find the few I need on any platform (as they're usually crazy popular), and the savings have been well invested elsewhere!

Not beating on Apple, just giving those who considered this change that push they need just like I did!
I see what you are saying but the price has dropped to $250 which is lot more reasonable than the full retail price. I have a old fire tablet (way too slow now and I need to get my other apps that aren't available) and I also have a Samsung Galaxy tab 4 (slowed down too much and I am not a big fan of Samsung interface). I think it is nice to pair an older iPhone and this cheaper tablet rather than dropping huge money on an expensive phone especially for the larger screen and battery improvement with tablet.

I skipped the Best Buy deal a few weeks ago, thinking I could just get one on BF. Grr I mean it's a great price for the 32gb at $249 I think the earlier deal was around $280.00 but I was looking for the 128 gb and it was $350 on sale at Best Buy, now I see for BF they have $80 off but it's NOT working for the 128gb! Did I just screw myself? I don't really want to settle for a 32GB as that's like nothing for storage. Does anyone know of any deals or upcoming specials for the iPad current model 128gb color doesn't matter I just need the storage capacity!

Thanks in advance!
I got Costco 128GB two weeks back for 360 including tax after $50 off + $25 coupon. seems at the time costco.com is not showing 128GB

Have you done it? What's the process?

edit: asking because Staples states that they will not match "special sales" like black friday

I see the 64G On Sale at times, but I'm looking for the 256G 10.5" Pro with WiFi. $679 minus red card right now. Good enough? Or should I hold out for better?
