Considering how fast they changed it back to $79, I'm fairly certain that those orders will get cancelled.

Good deal on a Dewalt 20v String Trimmer with extra spool of line. $139 plus free shipping from Home Depot.
Trimmer by itself is $200. This same package was on sale for $149 two months ago and was very popular, but sold out fast!

Except that it was $35 this morning at ACME TOOL. Granted, it was bare tool with no battery and charger and bonus line.

Yeah, for about 5 minutes, then it shot up to $79. Still pissed about that one.

Still, seems pretty good. I can't find the bare tool for less that $99 anywhere and here you get a $60 battery and $12 of line for $139.

FYI, for anyone comparing this to the earlier ACME deal, that was a price mistake; and this is a really a pretty awesome deal itself.

Talked to their customer service and got mine to go thru, no problem. It's on backorder, but hopefully ship in a week or two.

... don't waste your money, buy gas powered. Know someone who's gone through 2 of these already. No power and battery dies quickly. 3rd one was a charm, quickly turning him off of battery powered lawn equipment. Technology just isn't there. Think of the price cut and constant sales of these items... no coincidences here.

Side note,
High cost helps compensate for loss on back end with replacements... and btw you can find these "refurbished" all day long... not worth the trouble if you ask me. Get your hands dirty and go buy some gas powered tools until Elon Musk gets into lawn equipment sales.

I love my battery powered yard tools. Way better than gas. I went through two power heads over 4 years even using that expensive premixed fuel. Battery powered is lighter with same power.
