Per Amazon Review on Oct 12: "They have subscription fee for connecting to Google home or IFTTT!!!

After spending hours to set and install this device I noticed that Chamberlain has monthly or yearly subscription fee for connecting to google home or IFTTT !!! While Google and other company provide their service for free for all smart devices this company is charging for this interface, I haven't heard of any other company to have subscription fee for connecting to Google or Amazon.

Don't buy this"

Plan to use with wink system so that will eliminate any fees.

They also have their own app that works great. $64.99 is a great price for this unit and I've been waiting for it to go on sale. Thanks OP!

Not that great of deal in my IMHO. Light is useless, and hub, although older version I think, was $20.

You only need one of these devices. For a second garage door, just add another door sensor.

I got one of these on ebay for $30 a week ago

it works great. i love that I can check the app to see if my garage was left open or not... and, if i need to, i can open it for the landlord or a friend or whatever...

Yes you need one small unit/ sensor for each door. As you stick it on the garage doors and the main unit controls both.

IMHO If you do not have a chamberlain or LiftMaster Garage system, this will work without any issues and I am not sure what subscription fees people are talking about. I have been using this for the past 3-4 years without paying anything. It works very well on its own app. I use it with WINK as well. The only downside I feel is that sometimes it takes forever for it to close the garage when using an app.

If you have a chamberlain/LiftMaster Garage system, then you get additional features like - Garage closes automatically after a set time in case you forget to close the garage and there is no motion in the Garage. It's response time via app is way faster in this case as well.

Also one recommendation- it works faster for some reason if you you cell network on your phone and close or open the garage door. Don't ask me why and I know at least 6-7 people who have this system

You can add it to Wink, but it doesn't become a Wink accessable device from Assistant or IFTTT. It is a joke.
