Ozark Trail 64oz Double Wall Stainless Steel Water Bottle [walmart.com]

Lowest price ever since I initially posted this and then the deal got reposted (with no credit) and when FP.

Great Deal and great reviews

Pretty decent deal for a double wall growler

Not sure if it has stamp on it for growler fills but you can just use a sticker

For those of you who are curious about how well this water bottle keeps things cool, I did a test of it that I mentioned in an earlier reply, but here are the details.

Room temperature - 75 degrees
Filled container to the top with ice, filled the remaining space with water
Temperature measured with Thermapen (very accurate)

Starting Temp - 36 degrees
12 hours later - 32 degrees (water cooled due to ice)
24 hours later - 32 degrees
36 hours later - 32 degrees
48 hours later - 32 degrees
60 hours later - 33 degrees
72 hours later - 34 degrees
84 hours later - 39 degrees (ice completely melted)
96 hours later - 47 degrees
108 hours later - 53 degrees
120 hours later - 57 degrees (still cool to drink)

I stopped the experiment at that point. But suffice it to say it keeps things cool. I have 2 for road trips and hold up well. My only long term concern is the cap, but they have held up well so far.

I actually tested this as I was quite curious. The room was 75 degrees, filled it full of ice and then filled the remaining space with cool water, The water stayed below 40 degrees for four days. On the fifth day It got above 50 degrees. So it does a good job.

Bought couple of these several months back and they are absolutely awesome.

My parents used it to store a full pot of soup that could serve 4-5 people and the soup was still hot after 8-10 hours.

Seems like a decent amount available for free in store pick up. Just picked up two more for gifts. Everyone else can bring wine and fruitcakes, I'll bring the IPA

Good price if you need one this size. This is big. I have one of the 36 oz versions and it works great.

36 oz [walmart.com] is on sale also, not at the same % off though

I saw that. I bought several at $7 so $8 is a good price for the 36 oz but not an all time low.

I have a couple these and one from rtic. Good price for product. One word of caution if using for beer growlers. I had a couple of them to take on boat or on camp outs. The caps sometimes will leak or pop off under carbonation pressure if liquid is agitated. Messy. But a very good receptacle otherwise.

I bought one for $10 from the last deal on SD. No problem so far. I fill it up and leave it in my car for water after running. I refill twice a week. Very convenient. It keeps water colder than room temperature even after a few days which is perfect for me because I don't want to drink a water too cold.

Anyone know if I can get a sport lid or a different lid so you don't have to unscrew the top?

These are great to pee in on long road trips. Only try to go #2 in it if you are in a real pinch.
