Its a great deal and I really like the concept. But the reviews everywhere are really bad and plentiful. Check them out on Amazon.

Wink has been trying to dump these for a long time now. They are reportedly slow, lacking updates/support and the build quality not great.

These are not nearly as bad as people say if you hack them like in this video: https://youtu.be/eaEcYS9Bmqo

There is a tutorial video available on the channel and you can get them hacked for you through http://www.thehousehacker.com.

With this deal, you can get a device, send it to be hacked, and you'd still spend less than original MSRP

I ordered 10 Wink relays on the 24th also and they cancelled. I'm so pissed I was looking forward to making it an intercom system in my home. They can just backorder our stuff but are cancelling.

I'm going to leave them negative feedbacks on Amazon and all review websites I can find. I suggest everyone else do that also.

Grabbed a two pack. Hard to believe these were nearly $200 a piece just a couple of years ago.

Bought one a few months ago and it doesn't stay connected to my Google Onhub router. Doesn't reconnect automatically, got to do manually almost every other day. $49 for two is a good price though.

I'm a SmartThings guy, but I did put a Wink v1 hub in place for some lights with ST compatibility issues. I really tried to resist this ... but the pricing is too good to resist, as is the "cool technology" feature. It may be an expensive intercom in the end, but still fun to play with!

It showed a $99 on the PDP, but when I added it to the cart it dropped down to $49.

Thanks for the great info. As a tinkerer, they now seem more appealing.

I have two Wink 2 hubs in my house. One at either end. My plan would be to use these mainly as light switches. At this price works out to be $12.50 per switch which is cheap.

How has your experience been with them?

I love these things. They were a bit sluggish out of the box but still very cool. Once you mod them and hid the stock app, it's a whole new device. Music, Harmony remote, control WiFi...you can do a lot with these things and at $29 each, with 2 built in smart switches, it's a steal.

You can run SmartThings on this if you mod it like shown here: https://youtu.be/eaEcYS9Bmqo
