Tried searching but did not find on SD

RedPocket is giving ther 500 Talk / 500 Text / 500 MB Plan $20.00 for 3 Months for Black Friday. Basically it works out to be 6.66 per month. Free SIM & Shipping..

I'm using this service for the past few months and service is exceptional and never faced any issues with the connection.

Recharge is simple from their portal.. btw.. they have changed their portal and the new portal reflects accurate usage.. this was the biggest complain..

Questions: If you are already on the monthly plan that is expiring later.. you can still buy now and this will be effective after your current plan expires so that you do not lose any days.

I had a bad experience with Redpocket last year. Both my RP phones, one activated on att and the other on verizon failed before the year I bought on ebay was up. I had a major interruption of service lasting many days until they were eventually repaired. My att phone several months ago also had a weekend of "insufficient funds" recording but fortunately reset to working the following week. I am in Portland OR. Maybe Redpocket has better service elsewhere.

Good post and question (add a question mark to your last question please)

This deal is different from Ebay packages. You probably won't receive an activation code:
"Your SIM card will arrive with a built-in preload of your plan choice. Once you receive your SIM card, simply activate, insert the SIM into your phone and begin using your service!"

Need Red-PocketD to confirm a couple things:
1. How much time do you have to activate the SIM after you receive it??
2. For CDMAV/CDMAS -> I can check out with IMEI default value of "Dummy". So if I don't have my phone yet it is ok to link my new phone's IMEI at activation time when I am ready??

This awesome deal comes with a preloaded SIM card that will add the service automatically once you perform a new activation onto that SIM card. This does not come with an activation code and is meant for new sign ups. If you have a 3G phone or Sprint phone, message customer service and they can preload it before it is activated. This does not come with an activation code like the eBay plans.

Checking out with dummy for IMEI is fine as long as you aren't purchasing a Sprint compatible phone and choosing CDMAS SIM. CDMAS SIMs are size and model specific, so it is important to know ahead of time the IMEI to insure you get the right SIM.

This talk about a dummy IMEI has me concerned. I just purchased this and used the IMEI from my phone and was able to check out. Since a dummy IMEI can be used, does that mean the one I used from my phone is not necessarily able to be activated using the CDMA SIM I purchased? Or am I worrying for no reason? I just want to be guaranteed that my phone is compatible.

The IMEI entry for ordering is so that we can insure the phone model and SIM are compatible. However, in order to check your IMEI is valid for activation please use the validation tool at RedPocket.com/activate. Usually a phone will only be ineligible if it was reported lost/stolen or funds are still owed on it via a contract with the current carrier.

I get "We are showing no plan pre-assigned to your SIM/Device ID." I guess that's good news.

@Red-PocketD I have a Galaxy S3 (3G model) bought from pageplus directly. I also have $25 and a month remaining on my PPC 1 year 2000 minute card. I plan to keep my number. What is the best way to move to Red Pocket ? If I purchase the $20 deal do I have to port right away (i.e. the 3 month clock is now running), or can a wait a month to use the PPC balance before I install your sim ? Thanks.

Great question! There will be no restriction coming from Page Plus and using your phone. You will want to select a CDMA SIM at the time of your purchase. Please note this sale ends Monday night. The 3 months don't start until you activate your new SIM! When you activate, just be sure to select the option that you are porting your phone number and that you have the correct information (such as account number and passcode) from Page Plus.

On chat this is what rep confirmed.. may be rdpocket can confirm here again for the benefit of the rest
- once you buy this they will send the sim and you don't have to activate that sim.. you can call customer service they can add that plan to your current phone number .. you don't have to signup again
- you can buy 4 of these that's and it will stack automatically and will be effective one after the other so 80 bucks for the whole year..

That is not correct. This is meant for new customer activations and is for one time use.
