Was looking for one of these and saw the professional 5 at bestbuy for 199.

I saw this in stock on amazon for 279 and found a manufacturer's rebate for 70 with any authorized dealer as long as not

"Not valid at Bed Bath & Beyond, Macy's, Costco, Lowes, Walmart stores, QVC, Target, Whirlpool Corporation's VIPLINK Program or Employee Purchase Program,
marketplace websites or online auction sites. Offer not valid for refurbished or previously sold models. Rebate form is not transferable. "

Anyway a past blogger from a few years ago said that amazon is an authorized dealer when they called so I'll play the risk to get the color I wanted (white) for 10 to 80$ more if rebate doesn't work.

Sorry first deal post!

Thanks bigpollack hah got trigger happy

Where does it say Amazon is not a qualified marketplace website? Amazon customer service just assured me they are a qualified marketplace.

Right, Amazon is a Marketplace and it's a website. So per the description Marketplace websites are not Eligible for the rebates.

Amazon is both a retailer and marketplace. As long as it's sold and shipped by Amazon, the rebate should be ok

You need to read the description again.

Thank you OP for posting this. It's VERY clear that everyone who is stating this rebate is not valid, if purchased through Amazon, has no proof, just an opinion.

If anyone of you would have taken the time to call KitchenAid using the number on the rebate, you would know that Amazon DOES qualify for the rebate. Why put out lies with NO research?
