**beware** slick deals rebate on Dell

I recently bought a dell computer and had to wait till it was marked shipped before dell would produce an invoice required for the SD $100 rebate. I had 30 days to get the ppr wrk post marked. It was getting close to my deadline so I called the SD rebate number and asked what I should do and he told me we would put some notes on my file and I should be able to just submit the rebate after the i had the invoice. So I waited and finally dell marked my computer shipped so I could print the invoice and then I mailed in the rebate form. I just got an email saying my rebate was declined. I am pretty disappointed. So be careful on the SD rebates. I don't think I would have bought the computer knowing I wasn't going to get the $100 off.

Your rebate has been approved, The system automatically declined your submission as it was received past the allotted timeframe. However we alway go over these claims manually and approve the ones that should have been approved. In the future, if there are any delays with your order, please let us know by contacting us at rebates@slickdeals.net or send a PM, to avoid these types of delays with you rebate. We will instruct you on how to proceed in cases like this one. Happy holidays!

Thank you, I just got the email saying it was approved. Sorry to complain I really appreciate SD.
