Here's Joker's review on the x10s on The Headphone List. x11s are based on/an interative upgrade over the x10s.

http://theheadphonelist.com/headp...-x10-x10i/

He rates them a 8.6/10 for sound - There are a bunch of <$100 headphones on that are rated better on THL.

http://theheadphonelist.com/headphone-list/#

*Prices on that list aren't super up to date, most of them are cheaper than listed.

I personally recommend the HiFiMan RE-400 Waterline for $49.99 on Amazon - they're 9/10 on THL. Not the best build quality, but you're not going to get better sound for ~$50 until you hit $90, and those options would be only a slight upgrade or strict sidegrade. I've had mine for 2+ years and one of the rubber cable stress reliefs on the earpieces detached, thought it doesn't affect my usage whatsoever.

I had the x10s maybe 5 or 6 years ago and they were good at that time. The smallest IEMs I've ever used and very comfortable with the oval tips. The jack eventually died on me, so I moved on. My RE-400s have held up longer than my old x10s.

You could also go the Chi-Fi(Chinese HiFi) route - there's been a bunch of Chinese IEMs released recently, many of them that sound very good for the price. Usually priced around $10-30 USD. Check out https://audiobudget.com/ and http://www.aproear.co.uk/review-list/

I recently bought ADAX HT06 and Einsear T2 on Amazon for $15 and $20. They're rated 9.5 and 9.4/10 on AProEar's budget list. Keep in mind this is in the context of budget and ChiFi IEMs, so they're still have QC problems vs products from established headphone brands. I personally avoided the KZ ZS5/6s, since the new(version 2) ZS5s and the ZS6s are more sibilant than I like.

Was $8 more expensive a couple weeks back when I got them, but no regrets. Great deal on great earphones. I sidegraded from a dying pair of X10s. They sound the same, but the cable seems much improved. Nothing competes with it at this price, and they're definitely more comfortable than anything many times this price.

I prefer negative profile iem's or those like the dunu titan's. But it's good to know that these are comfortable too. Do they stick out much?
Was thinking of getting 1more tripple

it would just be a matter of what pin configuration your phone uses, Apple and most phone brands use CTIA, older and some other misc devices use the alternate config. https://longtailproducts.zendesk....-CTIA-OMTP

if it works on iphones it should work on most phones these days

I'll post this in every headphone thread. Klipsch makes decent sounding headphone that are extremely small and comfortable, with horrible thin wires.

Get yourself the ZS3, they have removable cables, are around $15-$6, are comfortable and have great sound. You'll love them. Even has a bluetooth cable if you want to upgrade them.

There is no reason to get any other ones, unless you're a small person who they don't fit. For the price though, its worth trying!

Mic works on all TRRS devices. In-line remote is Apple only.

Huge markups for IEM headphones seems to be ludicrously common; can't think of any commodity that is worse.
