I had doubts if it would fit and seal. I always use the original, but so expensive. How do these compare with the name brand ones?

lmfao... 30 day warranty on a 6-pack of 6-month filters, by the time you open the 6th one it will be like 1000 days past the warranty period.

I'm really skeptical, they are trying to sound like "Everydrop" which is the official manufacturer source for most refrigerator filters now.

I agree, I did not fully realize it was not that brand until I saw the photo. Reviews are decent, and I think it gets like a B on fakespot. Was hoping to see if anyone here had first-hand experience.

Purchased their 4396508 before for my Sears/Kenmore side-side refrigerator. Fits just fine, water tastes OK, and the water pressure from the dispenser is good. In other words, I did not lose any pressure from the water dispenser. Other bad filters cause loss of water pressure, so watch out. Price is reasonable, just ordered 6-pack.

Wife's friend bought non-OEM replacement filters and there was a slow leak that caused thousands in water damage.

If you are going to buy this I would put a water sensor underneath your fridge to alert you if there is a leak.

I bought this brand before but for a different model (LG 600P replacement). Had to replace them in less than 3 months compared to 6 months with the original due to the filters no longer being able to filter out some bad tastes in the water. They also didn't have certification of being able to filter out as much chemicals and contaminants as oem filters.

I have read numerous reviews enumerating various problems with aftermarket filters that have convinced me these are not worth the risks.

Only NSF 42. So you are not filtering out anything but taste. Lead will still get through.

I really liked the Whirlpool PUR water filter for my Kenmore side-by-side refrigerator based upon water taste and quality. But they stopped making them. What other brand would be equivalent?

A while back I was researching deals on LG replacements, from what I found, there is a lot of scams going on in these things.

They do not compare. These will not filter the bad stuff like the OEM ones will. These will only filter out large particles to help improve taste. If you want your filter to actually clean your water, than stick with the name brand.
