Anyone comment on the quality of these phones. I see some past Tracfone deals on the Galaxy Sky Pro make FP. Should I wait for that particular phone. Seems like great prices on the annual minutes for occasional use.

Is there a way to transfer the service to add to an existing account?

Sorry for the newbie question... but it seems to be too good to be true.

So I pay $50 and get a year of phone service. (Minutes, text or MB?)

What else do I need to pay for?

(This seems to be a great idea for a teenage kid...)

If you want/need additional minutes, text or data you'll have to pay for it. Other then that it's the prices shown on each bundle.

FYI the product images are deceiving; no airtime card is included to use as you wish.
"Phone + airtime bundles do not include a physical card. Airtime is installed on the phone upon activation."

True but you can transfer to new phone and back to your old phone to get min/time added on your account

I am looking to get one of the tracfone package with 1 year service.

It looks like the basic phones suffer from the minimum 8 gb internal memory.

Can anyone recommend which one of the three phones, LG rebel, ZTE Zmax, ZFIVE is better?

Or is there a better package available?

Thanks.

I currently have a phone with the triple minutes. Does anyone know if "triple minutes" remain with the phone if you discontinue Tracfone service, and then later reinstate the service? In other words, could I let my paid-for minutes run out, and later put a new phone number on the phone, and still have the triple minutes option with the new phone number?

The underlying question is this: Are "triple minutes for life" tied to the phone - so I can change phone number, have a service lapse, and still get back the triple minutes when I put more minutes (and a different phone number) on the phone after such a lapse?

Has anyone bought the LG Rebel from Ebay and activated it? Does it have triple minutes? You can check by going to Refill on Tracfone's website and and checking for plans. It would say "3X AIRTIME FOR YOUR PHONE" in the "PAY AS YOU GO PLANS" section.
