lol, in Denver they call the Timberline Steaks & Grill restaurant one of their lounges Smilie
What you get is a certain amount of money toward food/drink.

Hardly a lounge.

it's the only option in Denver airport - so I guess to add some value for people there, they instead give a $ amount toward a restaurant there, since there is no real lounge.

So with the standard plan you don't get anything other than the option to pay for every visit to the lounge?

Same thing in Australia but it came in clutch. Used the credit for one food spot for lunch and beer (wasn't expecting alcohol, yay peroni) and another spot I just used the credit for local bottled sodas which I took back to Hawaii. Hardly a reason to gripe Stick Out Tongue

Still available with CSR card https://www.chase.com/card-benefi...rve/travel

Probably a better deal to do that as it lets you bring guests for free.

Unless you fly internationally often, the priority pass SUCKS! I get one free through a credit card and it basically reads something to the effect of "you can go to this one club in this one terminal in this massive airport if you're traveling to the Congo on the third full moon after the hell freezes over.....from 1:13PM to 1:14PM only if you're accompanied by a pink 3 month old unicorn....who must pay an entrance fee of $27.

Many of these lounges are shared with airlines who boot people out if youre not a 1st class passenger during normal traveling hours. Then they make you feel like an idiot for not getting the above requirements.

The lounge I went to in Vegas could hold about 20 people. Complimentary popcorn, Pepperidge Farm Milano cookies (the international cookie of airport lounges), potato chips, coffee, and booze. It was crowded and hot. I stayed 15 min. The Timberline Steak House in Denver has an attached smoking lounge. With servers in and out, the whole restaurant smelled of smoke. Food took one hour. Again, crowded. A cocktail cost $14.
