Toshiba is by far the worst HDD mfg IMO. I wouldn't even trust to use this as a paperweight.

Every HD i've ever owned from toshiba has failed and caused me data loss. I will never give them another chance, even if they give it to me for free.

Wildly disagree; only ever lost one drive (DOA), and was replaced quickly and professionally. Toshiba is the ONLY drive I'll use, the one I have settled upon for everything from short-term use to long-term storage. (Seagate drives die routinely with the patented Clock'O'Death if you look at them funny, and WD always EOLs their devices before actually fixing the bugs they've written into the code, so I avoid both.)

I've had two 3tb P300 drives running mirrored in my NAS for 2 years straight, 24 hours/day.

No issues at all.

Coupons are YMMV, I always print out multiple coupons for MC, one has ALWAYS worked for me.

Interesting...

when it failed last summer, i simply pulled out my tablet and enerated another coupon fail, so I figured it was RMN's code generator seeing the same ip address more thn once.. last week it was my second trip in a month, so I adjusted my thinking that it was MC limiting me to 1 coupon per month..IDK... but it was on my tablet. again that the failed coupon was created..
