Can anyone comment on the quality? I have some of the Costco ones and they've been great so far. Apparently the new style at Costco are inferior in quality now.

what makes these better than the 8-10 cent plastic hangers at walmart?

Reading through reviews: Looks like it will save space in your closet. Velvet texture so stuff doesnt fall. Quite a bit of reviews about broken hangers right out of the box and also questions about longterm usage. Still may buy.

Yeah, those 2 things are the main difference, thinner so more space in closet and material is harder than plastic ones so less chances of breaking from weight of clothes.

The original ones are the "huggable hangers" by Joy Mangano but they are expensive. The knockoffs can be just as good in quality but they've been making them cheaper lately as a lot of people are making them.

You own these? So many reviews of people complaining about broken hangers from normal handling. My 8 cent hanger from walmart has never broken. Not a single one. I am interested in the space saving factor tho.

In for 2.

No, I own the ones they sell at Costco. When they're on sale they are are $7.99 for a 35 pack (regular price is $9.99 in-store). I was looking to get some more from Costco but they changed the style and people are complaining about crappy quality compared to the previous ones.

Yup. Might just wait for the Costco ones to go on sale again, at least I can return those to Costco if they suck.

I have these. They are the only hangers I use anymore. My wife wears a lot of silky cloths that tend to fall off the regular plastic hangers. I've never had any break.

These suck imo. So much harder to put normal shirts on these. My wife refused to use them.

I got these when they were $23 and would definitely recommend these. I got 2 packs to replace all of my plastic hangers. Haven't had any break and they're definitely low profile. I use them for shirts and pants.
