Instant Pot Inner Pot with 3 Ply Bottom, 6 quart, Stainless Steel $22.46

This is the same liner that comes with the Instant Pots and is stainless steel not the version with the non-stick coating. CamelCamelCamel has this hovering at $30-35 and the current price as the lowest recorded price.

My wife loves her instant pot and has been asking for a second liner so I jumped on this deal.

I just bought an instant pot as a gift for someone. I don't have any experience with it. Just curious why would someone need this extra pot?

The main use case for me would be to switch out cooking multiple things for the same meal. It's more a convenience thing than a requirement because one could just empty the pot of cooked food to a serving bowl, wash the pot, and continue cooking the next item. At this price though, it almost might be worth just getting two instant pots if counter space is not a concern...

Agreed...At $10 I would get in on this but not at this price. Also, storage is not much better than having two instapots.

Put "pressure cooker" in title. Instant Pot does not have the same kind of brand recognition as Coke or Kleenex.
Most people refer to the instant pot as an 'instant pot'"...

This deal is mainly for people who already own this brand.

OP should do whatever he feels!

What pressure cooker can you use this in, besides an instant pot?

One thing to note on this .. I have the DUO, and my 6-quart insert has cup measurements inside of it for easy adding of ingredients. My mom just bought the LUX, and her insert only has 2 marks inside .. a 1/2 mark and a "PC MAX - 2/3" mark so you don't overfill the pot.

The photo on this item looks like it just has those minimal marks. Given the choice, I would definitely prefer the cup measurement marks.

I agree with others, a second pot insert would be handy (for example, if I've made a meat dish and want to quickly cook some rice or something, I could put the meat pot into the oven to keep it warm while the rice cooked without having to wash out the pot first) .. but this is more spendy than I want to spend for that convenience.

Also, Instant Pot isn't just a pressure cooker .. it is a 6+-in-1 .. so you'd have to say pressure cooker / slow cooker / rice maker / egg cooker / cake baker / hot plate / yogurt maker / etc. "Instant Pot" sums it up nicely.

Not exactly the same product, but this is a less expensive version that is nonstick coated and also has the measurement lines to show # of cups you've put in the pot.

https://www.amazon.com/Genuine-In...B00ICL8M1I $14.96
Genuine Instant Pot Ceramic Non-Stick Interior Coated Inner Cooking Pot - 6 Quart

The reviews are confusing and makes me think they reference a different/previous size.

There are a few different recipes(yogurt, cottage cheese, ect) that need to rest in the fridge for around 8 hours in the bowl after you've cooked them. If you had the second bowl you could still put the instant pot in use.
