At this price definitely worth it, at least the 1st half of the game

I've been holding off on purchasing this due to the upcoming PC version, but the part that sucks is Square Enix rarely has good discounts on that platform for it's RPGs. I'll probably have to settle for $30-40 a year after launch rather than $15-20.

Great deal. Surprisingly shop runner isn't an option, as far as I can tell. Even though they're a verified partner/store.

Target had a lot of these left yesterday night for $15. I would check there first if you have one nearby.

I jumped on the Redbox $9.99 deal from about a week ago. Tried stopping in at Gamestop for a spare case but they wouldn't give me one with the box art. I will print up a custom cover I think. The Japanese cover is so cool compared to the North American.

I would not risk buying the Xbox one version because I have a feeling it is not the day one version.
The box cover matches up but the description does not . New egg has a separate version for 19.99 with the correct description
Also no returns if you buy through new egg even if it's unopened
I was lucky to find a day one Xbox version for 19 at Walmart last night .

I received the regular version at the Redbox kiosk. I saw a Day One version at Target that had me deliberating whether to pick it up and return the Redbox copy, but it looked like the only difference was an included weapon in the game.

Yeah my brand new copy at target was 15
It was a rare find to get the day one version for 15 this bf

I did find day one version of tekken for 19 as well at Walmart.
I picked up Xbox one version day one for 19 as well

I did not want the regular version for 15 ... Newegg has the descriptions wrong and the day one version is 19
Xbox one version is superior vs PS4 on a 4k console, much better detail on the scorpio

Definitely tempting, but I already bought some games and I've never managed to get through a Final Fantasy game (I've played VII, VIII, and XIII). I do like the visuals though.

What's so good about the Day One version? Just an exclusive weapon?

Grabbed one from Redbox $10 this AN, no time spent hunting around for a new version.
