Was interested when I found this but several tech buds advised against. RCA is apparently just a shell brand with produced by a subpar company that also handles other lower brands.

Sucks. RCA was that company you would be proud to buy products from.
But that was when RCA was made in USA. They had the best TVs and Radios with Tubes. They are also responsible for most of the early movie theater sound systems, and 35mm projectors.
