Didn't even know this monitor existed.

This can't stack with a slickdeals rebate?

It is one of the excluded items at the moment.

First line of the rebate instructions would seem to answer this question twice.

"Only works on Dell Home (not MPP). EXCLUDES: Bose, Gift cards, Dell UltraSharp 38 Ultrawide Monitor - U3818DW, Alienware 25 Monitor - AW2518HF, Alienware 25 Monitor - AW2518H, Alienware 34 Gaming Monitor - AW3418DW....(and more)"

OP I think you meant 5% off?

I got this monitor when it was 999 and have been using it for about a week. It's amazing. Some of the monitor review sites say its the current king of the ultra wide gaming monitors. If there is 1 thing I dislike, its the stand. The feet are very long and point towards the user. Luckily my small Razer tournament edition keyboard fits in the middle of it, but if I had a full keyboard with num pad, I'd be out of luck and need a new desk. Also there is some ghosting at the "fastest" response rate setting. I had to leave it at normal which some competitive gamers probably would stay away from. That said, those guys want 240hz so it doesn't really matter. All in all, this is one heck of a monitor and at 550 off Msrp, its a good buy.

In addition to gaming, Can this monitor do video editing and other everyday stuff well?
I am looking for a good monitor that can handle both gaming and productivity.
Thanks

Do they have any deals on 34" curved monitors greater than 1080P? This is overkill for my needs. I can only find deals for 1080P. wouldn't mind spending around $500 give or take.

No HDR, or 4k?? Ripoff..... /s

Damn g sync prices are too insane still. Haven't tried it yet, but doesn't seem worth that price imo.

The ultrawide alone makes it useful for video editing. Add to that that these panels offer very accurate color, you definitely can use it for video editing too. The design on this one looks more premium than the Acer Predator that is a plus too.

Best (gaming) monitor right now. Bought it last week for $900.-. Dell compensated me because the order didn't go through the right way. Got 110.- additional cash back @ Be Frugal.
Really happy with the monitor so far. The Gsync is incredibly smooth and issue free unlike free sync.
The only 34' 21:9 3440x1440 IPS 120Hz Gsync on the market.
