For those of use that can't get that sweet 1950x from Super Micro @ $700, Newegg has a combo deal on the AMD Threadripper 1950x & Asrock X399 Fatal1ty Professional motherboard for $1085 - $50 Mail in Rebate for the mother board, giving you a total of $1035.

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Co...bo.3705785

This motherboard is great because it is ATX size, not E-ATX, and it stuffs a 10Gb Aquantia NIC on the board. So there's no need for an additional rider card.

Looks like a good deal. This thing is faster than the CPUs in my three computers, a videogame console, tablet, and phone combined. Also more expensive than all those things combined.

The vast majority of people don't need this. You only do if your work/hobby involves a process that takes a while (encoding, compiling, machine learning, rendering, etc etc)

Still a good price tho

Newegg had the Asus Zenith x399 and 1950X for $1039 last night for a few hours. So this feels like it can go lower.

I'd suggest the zenith on amazon vs this board.

That's what I was planning to do, but the discounted price was over.
Considering the price difference and the additional size of the mobo, it wasn't worth it to me.
Gladly pocket $120 +taxes for the additional memory needed for this setup lol.

It's a computational method of learning a generalizable function, usually (but not necessarily) from large amounts of data. Natural language translation is a high profile example, or like self driving cars.

Just a helpful tip for you guys:

The ZENITH has a very loud fan noise in case anyone is wondering.
That is related to an internal board component which isn't easy to modify at all.

You may be better off with this board, if you prefer a bit more quiet environment
(non-gaming) such as graphic design.

I got the zenith extreme, and man. It's pretty but now I have to spend extra finding a case that'll actually fit that behemoth and look good. Thinking Tower 900, but then I have to do a custom loop.
