Microcenter YMMV - Ryzen Processor and ASRock X370 Taichi Motherboard from $254.98 after Price Match and MIR

YMMV since it's both Microcenter and a price match on top of a bundle deal.

Microcenter currently has the highly regarded ASRock X370 Taichi on sale for $164.99 after mail in rebate (http://www.microcenter.com/produc...otherboard). Newegg has the same motherboard for $154.99 after mail in rebate (https://www.newegg.com/Product/Pr...6813157757). Microcenter is also running a bundle deal where if you bundle any Ryzen CPU with a motherboard, you get $30 off (http://www.microcenter.com/search...y=pricelow). At my local Microcenter (Fairfax, VA), I was able to price match the motherboard price before the bundle discount on a Ryzen 1600X and Taichi bundle. They just took $10 off the total price, making my out the door total $304.98 + tax after MIR.

As always, this is YMMV since it's microcenter and a price match off a pre bundle price, but it's worth a shot if you are building a computer like I was.

Steps to reproduce:
  1. Order a Ryzen processor and ASRock Taichi motherboard for store pick up (or go to the store if they have it in stock)
  2. At checkout, ask if they pricematch Newegg (they do) and show them the Taichi motherboard price (https://www.newegg.com/Product/Pr...6813157757)
  3. Enjoy $10 additional dollars off a really good motherboard and processor bundle

PS - I also got a Quake Champions pack for ordering a Ryzen 1600X, so that was an added bonus.

Microcenter will not price match *and* give bundle pricing it's one or the other.

If you read my post, my Microcenter did this. I literally just picked it up and they took $10 off the total bundled price.

Cincinnati Micro Center doesn't price match, period.

It's a store-by-store policy.

I've had Cincinnati Microcenter pricematch Newegg multiple times. Maybe a different manager who decided otherwise for you, but they definitely did in my case.

Pricematch and bundle pricing is usually a no if you have to ask for both. Just get the pricematch on one item, don't say anything about the bundle. The bundle discount should automatically apply when they go to total it out. I've done that before
